Lampworking is a art in itself & I am always learning, some of the beads in my designs may be made by other artist who's work I respect & admire greatly.
Lampwork beads are a form of art that goes back thousands of year, lampworking is where you melt glass onto a steel rod thru a flame, turning the rod till you have the size & shape of bead you want, then placing it in a kiln that is at 950 degree to anneal, this is cooling the bead from the inside out to make it durable & to prevent cracking.
Each bead is made by hand one at a time,then annealed & clean before string on a stainless steel .49 strand wire. I use only the finest finding you can get, such as Bali Silver from Indoseisa, 925 Sterling Silver, beautiful Swarovski Crystals, all to ensuring a lifetime of enjoyment & beauty.
** Please remember that these beads are made from glass & can crack if abused.
